Baba's Bites is our first vegan recipe book, full of plant-based wonders for every skill level.
The majority of the easy vegan recipes in the book are ‘one-potters’ and use readily available ingredients that can be found in most places over the world. Baba's's is intended to provide simple and easy-to-make meals, and most recipes can be made in under an hour.
All ingredients used in our easy vegan recipes are 100% natural, and contain no additives, chemicals, preservatives or any other nasties. Each recipe page has ‘bites’ of wisdom that educate the reader on the Ayurvedic benefits of each ingredient in everyday language that is easy to understand. It is created with true health in mind, body and soul, and goes a step-further in creating a wholistic vision for good eating and living that goes beyond fad-diets and quick-fixes.
We wanted to make Ayurveda accessible to anyone and everyone who wanted to add a little more consciousness to their vegetarian food choices. Baba's's bites brings together ancient Ayurvedic wisdom, modern plant-based cuisine and hand-drawn illustration and into a beautifully presented cookbook. The vegetarian food offered in our book provides a balanced and fulfilling alternative to meat-based diets.
Consciously crafted to offer an accessible introduction to the basics of Ayurveda, this book clarifies the roles of the Doshas (The Three Bodies) in relation to different vegetarian food and body types. Each of the seasonal easy vegan recipes are designed to bring balance to these body types.

"Such an unusual cookbook that is wonderfully informative for healing your body through 'Life Science', known as Ayurveda. It's beautifully presented, with gorgeous illustrations and photography, which I think makes this a very unique cookbook. I haven't seen anything like this before. It's a fantastic read, even before you start looking at the recipes, which I have to say are very well thought through and easy to follow. I particularly like the dal and use my over ripe bananas which I use to throw out, to now make the baba nana bites. I am trying more and more recipes and following the teachings that the authors have set out, feeling my body is responding positively and a bonus of starting to lose weight in the process! Plant based diets are the way forward, and I would definitely recommend this delightful little book."
